Having The Right Mindset in Business

Updated: Nov 12, 2021

Starting a Business - Part 12

Now it is time to believe in yourself and become successful in your business by building the right mindset.

Build a belief that it’s possible for you. What are the beliefs that are holding you back? Start seeing yourself from the end as a successful entrepreneur. Observe yourself in that image, and start to think, believe, and take action as a successful entrepreneur would.

Get passionate about what you’re doing. How can I serve or talk about my business in a way that shows my true passion for what I do? When people see and feel your passion, you stand out above the crowd and become a magnet - attracting your ideal clients that resonate with your passion.

Have a wealth mindset. People go into business for different reasons, but financial motives are generally at the top of the list. You need to become aware if you have money beliefs that are not supporting your wealth potential.

Below are a few tips to help keep you on track and motivated!

Manage your activities. If time blocking is an option (read - you don’t have little people running around, climbing on you, or hanging from the chandelier), then we highly recommend time-blocking. Otherwise, each evening write out 6 actions that you can take that are directly related to your goal. Prioritize them in order. Then as time allows, start with the most important and take steps every single day to keep you moving closer to your goal. Whether you completed all 6 in a day or not, keep writing a new list each night and tackling them in order. Even taking 1 important step 365 days later adds up to huge movement!

Have a solution-oriented mindset. We won’t bullshit you and say you won’t have problems or setbacks. Keep a solution-oriented mindset and tackle problems head-on. Sometimes the solution you seek is in another person, so networking and participating in mastermind groups can accelerate your progress. Think about it now - what am I needing a solution to right now?

The most dangerous words in business are I Know that. Knowing doesn’t make a successful business. Success is in the doing.

Find some grit to persist. Be like Nick.
