Benefits of Outsourcing

Outsourcing. A topic in which a million and one articles exist, yet none of them are clear enough to be understood by the average Joe (or Jane). After an afternoon of research and discussing the topic amongst our team, we simplified the concept and reviewed its importance and why small businesses should consider outsourcing. Having a meeting about outsourcing implementation is never time wasted and in fact, can prove to be time well spent.

Outsourcing, also known as subcontracting, is defined as a collaboration between two companies. Picture this, company #1 flashes Batman’s sign for help with their marketing, and company #2, aka Batman, comes to the rescue. In our case, you flash our logo, and we’ll come to help! See? Easy as pie!

Besides being a collaboration, why is ‘Outsourcing’ necessary, and should people consider it a viable option?

Here are the top three reasons:

Reason #1 – Money Talks

When new employees get hired, they take on benefits and get added to the payroll, producing another expense. However, when outsourcing, that is removed. Of course, one would have to pay a monthly fee or retainer to obtain a specific service, but it could be significantly less of an expense and can potentially become a tax deduction for your business.

Reason #2 – Collaboration is KEY

Marketing is creative work, and it’s at its best when you collaborate with your peers. This helps the company improve its brand/image, reach its target, and engage with the customer base. It also enables everyone to become a part of a unified team that pulls in the same direction and teaches others how to produce high-quality work.

Often, when you outsource, you’re getting a team of people specializing in marketing (that’s the case with Evoke Creative). By constantly studying the ever-changing interweb, educating themselves on the latest trends, and knowing the ins and outs of what makes a campaign successful, they reassure you that your business will thrive and flourish in unimaginable ways.

Reason #3 – High-Quality Work

Marketers have to be in their A-game at all times. They constantly need to educate themselves about the latest trends. Whether online or in more traditional outlets, they know what will make a company and product shine. Additionally, this route takes the load off of someone perhaps less experienced or who has other things on their plate and may not prioritize or produce the best work while meeting multiple deadlines.
